5 GUNS-5 LIMITS!

We switched our typical hunting location from down East to a little closer to home this year and the results were excellent!

We've been doing some collaborative work with Thomas Moore and his YouTube Channel @Yellowlab247 Outdoors recently. Thomas uses his platform to show people how to plant plots for doves and ducks but also deer and turkeys.

Thomas's family has a beautiful property in Chatham County with a 4 acre field that has become somewhat of his proving grounds as he plants a number of plots for doves and he takes the time to video his techniques for his followers to learn! 5 guns entered the field on opening morning this year and the 5 guns left the field with 5 limits by 9 o clock! Not a bad way, to ring in the opening day!

I was impressed that this field which is tiny in comparison to the typical fields we hunt in the east was able to draw in flock after flock of birds. Some with as many as 9 birds in them. A real testament to Thomas's hard work and experience with planting for doves!

We're looking to showing you more about what Thomas is doing in the future! Especially as fall food plot planting for deer is underway now!
