AN OLD WARRIOR FALLS

CAO producer and Cameraman Ole Josh killed an old brawler in his home county of Granville two evenings ago with archery tackle! Ole Josh has a history with this buck and according to his trailcam photos he's estimating him to be 8 1/2 years Old! Now that's something to be proud of!

He may not look like much in the way of antlers but old bucks like this aren't easy to kill. And to add to this story, Josh released an arrow at this buck last year but Ole slick was able to evade a ride in the pickup truck. And, after processing the buck found a part of an arrow from another hunter lodged in his shoulder! Fast forward to a few evenings ago and Josh finally connected! The rest is history!

The portion of an arrow from another hunter was lodged in this buck's shoulder blade from some years before. Josh said you could not tell that the buck had been shot until he started processing the deer.
